"I had my first intro dive in 2016 in Malta and unfortunately I didn't have a great experience. I was breathing too fast and couldn't get my buoyancy right. Then in 2023, under the caring guidance of Mido (arguably the best dive master out there), I tried scuba one more time. From the first dive in the Red Sea, I fell in love. Dolphins came to meet us at 9 meters down and I knew I was at the right place, at the right time. It wasn't easy to get my confidence up but every dive became easier as I was inspired to explore the underworld more. I found freedom and peace, everything stops underwater and it's just you, your breath and a whole new world. Today I'm an open water certified diver and I can't wait to go on this trip with you!"
Meet Tammy, a lover of travel and culture at an early age. As a young teenager, her father took her into the jungles of Mexico to experience Mayan ruins. It was a formative experience for her and greatly shaped her path forward. She graduated with a degree in anthropology, with minors in both physical and cultural anthropology. During the summers, she traveled and worked in the Alaskan salmon processing industries, on cattle ranches, farms, quality control labs, and restaurants. After marrying her college boyfriend and getting SCUBA certified, they started exploring underwater worlds in Fiji, Micronesia, Ecuador, Hawaii, Bonaire, and the kelp forests of Northern California, adding Egypt to the list last summer!
